Early works of Georgian silver are incredibly rare, making this exceptional coffee pot by London silversmith John White all the more important. Crafted with clear Huguenot influences, a resplendent chased, repoussé and engraved floral motif surround the entirety of its tapered cylindrical form. Completed by a fine leaf-capped wooden handle and urn finial, this coffee pot is one of the few known examples of this silversmith's work, which are known for their exquisite high quality.
